Want to Know God Personally?

Would you like to have a relationship with the Creator of the whole universe? You can! Here are four important things to know first:

(1) The first thing God wants you to know is that you need to be saved.

• “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

• “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

• “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

• “Every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” (Romans 14:12)

(2) The second thing God wants to you know is that you cannot save yourself.

• “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.”(Titus 3:5)

• “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” (James 2:10)

• “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

• “Jesus said, ‘I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes unto the Father, but by Me.’” (John 14:6)

(3) The third thing God wants you to know is that Jesus has provided for your salvation.

• “For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.” (I Peter 3:18)

• “For He made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21)

• “God so loved the world the He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

• “But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

(4) The fourth thing God wants you to know is that you can be saved today.

• “…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2)

• “Choose you this day whom you will serve.” (Joshua 24:15)

• “Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

• “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? So they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.’” (Acts 16:31)
